Booking & Deposit
I accept bookings selectively based on schedule and project content. While I may not be able to accommodate every request, you are always welcome to reach out with your inquiry first.
To confirm your session, a deposit of 50% (or the full fee) is required in advance.
Your booking will be officially confirmed once the deposit is received. Please note that dates cannot be held without payment.
Disclaimer
If we are unable to perform our duties for any reason — such as equipment failure, unforeseen accidents, traffic troubles, illness, or natural disasters — compensation will be limited to a refund of the amount paid.
We will not be liable for any additional costs, consequential losses, or claims beyond the amount received.
Payment Methods
All payments are made in Japanese yen (JPY). Reference prices in USD/EUR are approximate and may vary with exchange rates.
- PayPal – Recommended for credit card users and international clients. A secure and quick way to pay online.
- Wise – Recommended for lower transfer fees. Suitable for direct bank transfers in your local currency.
Payment details will be shared upon booking confirmation.
Payment Schedule
Payment is due before the session date to secure your booking.
For short-notice bookings, same-day or on-location payment can be arranged.
Cancellation Policy
- 48+ hours in advance → Fully refundable
- Within 24 hours of the session, → 50% cancellation fee may apply
- No-shows without prior notice → Non-refundable
If weather conditions or unforeseen events prevent the session, you may choose between a full refund or rescheduling at no extra cost.
Copyright & Licensing
1. Copyright Ownership
The Copyright of all photographs captured belongs exclusively to the Photographer.
2. Basic Usage License (Primary Use)
(Applicable for Personal Commissions)
Clients are granted a perpetual and non-transferable license to use the delivered photographs within the following scope:
- Personal Use: Private use (e.g., posting to personal social media accounts, sharing with family and friends, personal printing).
- Self-Promotion/PR: Use for personal self-promotion or public relations (PR) related to the client.
Mandatory Restriction: For any commercial use or advertising purposes, prior consultation with the Photographer is mandatory.
3. Secondary and Commercial Use
Use for profit-generating activities or use that exceeds the original purpose of the commission is considered Secondary/Commercial Use.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Use for advertising, sales promotion, or direct product/service sales.
- Transferring the photographs to a separate business entity or third party.
Requirement: Secondary/Commercial Use requires a separate, additional licensing agreement and the payment of a licensing fee. You must contact us in advance to discuss the intended use and secure the necessary agreement.
4. Photographer’s Portfolio Use
The Photographer reserves the right to use the delivered photographs in their portfolio, social media accounts, and website for promotional purposes.
Opt-Out Clause: If you do not wish for your images to be published by the Photographer, please notify us in advance of the photoshoot.
