Photographer

Yoko
Hello, I’m a Japan-based photographer with over 17 years of experience capturing movement, emotion, and authentic expression — from dancers and musicians to quiet everyday moments.
My approach is quiet and observant. I don’t ask you to smile or pose. Instead, I focus on the natural beauty of presence—light, breath, and gesture. My sessions are slow-paced and intentional, allowing your true expression to unfold.
Experience
I began my career at contracted studios in the Kansai region. To date, I’ve photographed over 150 brides and grooms, been featured in more than 15 dance magazines, and captured over 20 dance orchestra performances.
Film directors and producers also trust me for still photography on set, and have been requested by stage actors and artists. My strength lies in capturing cinematic texture and expressive movement.
Though I’m just beginning to open my work to international guests, I bring deep care and presence to each session. If you resonate with this approach, I would love to connect.
